Jude & Dee’s Brooksby Hall Wedding

Jude and Dee’s Brooksby Hall wedding in Melton Mowbray was full of warmth, colour and emotion from beginning to end.

A Special Autumn Wedding at Brooksby Hall

Some weddings feel extra special, and this one definitely did. When Jude and Dee asked me to photograph their day, I didn’t even need to think about it. I knew it was going to be meaningful, personal, and guaranteed to end with a huge party at The Good Fellow George in Nottingham. As a Leicestershire wedding photographer, it was such a privilege to capture a day so close to home.

We started the morning at Brooksby Hall in Melton Mowbray, surrounded by the soft colours and calm atmosphere of an autumn wedding. Dee looked incredible in her beautifully detailed sari, honouring her Indian heritage, and Jude couldn’t have looked prouder standing beside her. Their Brooksby Hall wedding ceremony was intimate, emotional, and full of genuine warmth - the kind of setting that makes you realise how loved two people really are.

Wedding Portraits at Brooksby Hall

After the confetti and their first kiss as husband and wife, the guests made their way to the next venue while the three of us stayed behind to explore the grounds. Brooksby Hall is one of my favourite Leicestershire wedding venues, but autumn brings something extra special - rich reds, golden tones and the kind of light that makes every frame feel timeless. Photographing Jude and Dee was completely effortless; once they were close, they naturally fell into moments that felt real and unposed. It was the perfect setting for Brooksby Hall wedding portraits.

A Wedding Reception at The Good Fellow George

We then headed to The Good Fellow George in Nottingham for drinks, the kind of food everyone ends up talking about, and some hilarious speeches (shout out Jude’s brother, Hyrum). The evening turned into exactly what you’d hope for: a full dance floor, big energy, and a room full of people celebrating two people they adore. The perfect end to a beautiful Melton Mowbray wedding day.
